The narrator and Chingyu arrive at the house of Senior, who is in a "dizzy state." Chingyu asks Senior if he remembers what he had to say earlier, and Senior replies that he does not. Chingyu tries to get Senior to open the door to the house, but Senior refuses to do so, saying that he is afraid he cannot hear what Chingyu has to say. He tells Chingyu to wait until the next day, when he will be able to get some sleep, so that he will not have to wake up early in the morning. Senior drinks a full cup of water, and Chingy says that he thinks that if he were to get drunk, he would behave like a crazy man. Chingy asks if it is because of drinking, and senior says that it is, and he asks if Chingy needs him to bring the temperature down. He says that his hands may be icy, and when Chingy points out that Chingy took his hand for food, Chingy responds that he hit Chingy by the reflex.
