The narrator introduces us to the "special response class" , a group of young people who are interested in romantic things. He tells us that he's going to take a look at some of the romantic things that young people have done recently. He says that he took his girlfriend on a bike ride around the beach, and that he can't remember anything more romantic than that. He wants to give her back to her company, to her boyfriend , and to her sister . He asks her to send him a copy of a business trip planning document, and she says that she'll do it right away. She also tells him that she needs to get some fashionable clothes for her upcoming business trip. She tells him to go ahead and buy some clothes for the trip, and then they're going to book hotel tickets for the next day's events. She's also going to get a manicure, and there's a beauty exhibition in town. She asks if she can meet her boyfriend there, and he says no, because some of his team members have been assigned to work on urgent projects. The perfume team is also assigned to participate in the exhibition, and the narrator says that it's better to wait than to fight.
