In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of important characters. The first is Du Tiananya, who is the leader of the village of Zhefang. He is also known as the "Priest of the moon blade" and the "Fire Spear" . The second is Zhengzhou changxin, the "unshaven disciple" of the shaolin temple. The third is the "wimpy wimp" zhuyanxin, and the fourth is a "blue-clad killer of blood-clothes house" , who we are told is a member of the "Red Shirts" sect. The fourth is also referred to as a "fire spear" and a "head-escort of Heaven." The first and second are also called "gods" and "heavens." The third and fourth are called "devils" because they are followers of the devil.
