This chapter opens with a soliloquy about the villain system. It's the 43rd best cultivator in the world, and the man in charge of the system is the guy who's supposed to be running the show in the jungle. He's named Si Ming, and Si Ming is the leader of benevolence village. Si Ming asks Si Ming if he'd like to fight Si Ming in a jungle combat. He doesn't want to hurt Si Ming's reputation, so Si Ming tells Si Ming to cool it and not try to hurt his feelings. The guy comes in and says he's a deputy head of the six doors in the jiangnan area, and he wants to know if Si Ming has ever reported his suspicions about benevolence village to Si Ming. He says he hasn't, but Si Ming wants to hear it anyway, so he'll tell Si Ming about it when he gets back to the office. The dude is all, "I don't need to report this to you, because you're the head of a six door office, and I have my own responsibilities." Si Ming says, "You have your own responsibility, but as a branch of six doors, you have ours, too. If you stir up this mess, we've got to deal with it, too!" Si Ming points out that all branch offices are supposed to check on the tokens of the martial artist, and that's what they're doing right now.
