This chapter opens with a soliloquy by the villain, who tells Mr. Zhuge that he will kill him if he ever has a chance to kill him. He says that in the past, the Zhuge family was just civilians, but now they dare not make a wrong. He tells the audience that the purpose of his visit is not just to revenge, but to prepare for the future. The two young men, con Aso and marquis, enter the arena and greet the other guests. Aso says that he is glad to be a guest of the family, while marquis asks what he thinks of the "no. 3" on the list of the best cultivators. The young man replies that he cannot see through the mask, and that the family deserves the throne once more. He also says that the man is so perfect in dealing with people that he almost is not a person. The general greets the two men and tells them that the competition will be held once again by the family. The rules of the competition are the same as the previous years. All warriors who meet age requirements will be allowed to compete, and the three who win the tournament will be the winners.
