In this chapter, we're introduced to Raina, the new employee at the brandon factory. We learn that she's qualified to work at the factory, and that she and William are "mutually beneficial," meaning that they're both willing to work for the same company. We also learn that the company just started a new line of clothing, so it's a good opportunity for Raina to get back into the workforce. We're also told that the "brandon group" recently started a clothing business of her own, so there's no reason why she shouldn't be able to get a job at the new company. Finally, we learn that William treats Raina well, and she owes him a lot of money.
