The narrator tells us that he's been on the phone with his mom, asking her to meet him. She doesn't want him to go, but she's worried that he might be angry at her for rejecting him so many times. She tells him that he can't throw his tantrum if he says he has no time. He tells her that if she stands him up, he'll be dead. The narrator says that he has to face it sooner or later, and that he needs to go shopping with Raina Annie. He's going to the mall with her, he tells her, because he has nowhere else to go. He says that his mom is busy, and he'd rather be with her than with the brandons. He asks her why she wants to see him, and she says that she needs to buy some food for dinner. She says that if he knew she was hiring a thief, he wouldn't have hired her. He then asks her if she knows that the brandon company is recruiting for an administrative assistant job. She asks him if he can work for the company himself. He refuses, saying that since he can enter the company's family, it's not his job to work for them. She calls him a "useless ungrateful girl" and tells him to get his ass kicked. He calls her a "wall" and says he won't slap her. She finally gets out of the house, and the narrator tells her to stop being so ungrateful. He also tells her she has the right to sell her because she accidentally worked for him in the company.
