In this chapter, we learn that the man who abducted Arnold is from the smith's son. The boy has been going to K-Mart to have fun, so he's going to kidnap Arnold in order to get revenge on his family for all of the nasty things they've done to him and his family's reputation. We learn that Arnold's grandmother doesn't really like him, but she's not going to beat him for it. We also learn that raina is the daughter of an uncle and a sister of an aunt. We're also told that the aunt is a mistress of the uncle who broke his marriage, so we're not sure what the relationship is between the aunt and the uncle.
