In this chapter, the protagonist attempts to break a one-minute speed record by using the crystal bullets to destroy the two supporting pillars of the clay doll. He also attempts to use a crystal scorpion to detect the vibration of the crystal bullet and use it to grow the bullets. The protagonist realizes that he has a lot of skills left to learn, and he is eager to continue his conquest. He wonders if the psyger is waiting for him, but he is too busy to worry.
