Wezaemon is about to kill the tomb guard when he sees the hunger-wolf and realizes that the weapon is the key to his victory. He wants to use it to bite into the guard's chest, but he can't because his hp is so low. He thinks of a way to attack the guard, but the guards are too fixated on their luck, and they don't notice that he killed the guard in a split second. They're all fixated on the fact that he was killed by the wolf, and that he's going to have to kill him again in order to get back at the guards. He's not going to be able to do that, he says, because the wolf will kill him a million times before he can reach him.
