This chapter opens with a conversation between the president and the vice president. The vice president tells the president that Fang Yin--an intern at the company--is having a hard time adjusting to her new job. He wants to make sure that she doesn't get bullied because he's backing her. The president tells him to leave it to him, but he won't hesitate to do so again. He also tells Fang that he'll get rid of her when she's done arguing with him.
