About This Chapter
The next morning, the club's pro tries to convince himself that his friend's death was not an accident. He points to the pockets of his golf gloves, which he believes must have been taken out during the round of golf that preceded it. He also points to a picture of the two of them on the golf course, which suggests that the gloves must have remained in the pockets during the course of the round. The pro also points out that, during the game, he had been using his personal GPS device to track the whereabouts of the phone that he had planted on Kuchiki's bag. He wonders how he could possibly have intentionally caused the death of his friend. The amateur replies that, as a former medical student, he can tell you that it is extremely rare for someone to intentionally cause a death at the wrong time of day. He then wonders why the pro is still wearing his sunglasses. The light in the club is not very bright, so he forgot to put the case in his bag.
