About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the wet hair was actually a wig that was wrapped tightly in a waterproof rubber swimming cap. The wig was supposed to be dry so that it would look like the real thing, but it was actually wet hair. The wet hair is evidence that the killer was at the school on the day of the murder. The garbage collectors did not come to pick up the evidence, so the killer threw it in the trash. The killer apologizes, but says that he did not know that he was so smart. He asks the killer not to tell anyone, but the killer says that they are not lovers, and that he does not understand why the killer did not stand under the stand. He tells the killer that joya came to him for advice about the murder, and he hid in the school building after school and took a phone call from her ex-husband, who had custody of her. He says that the police are still hanging around, and the killer could be in trouble if he killed himself, but he doesn't understand why anyone would do such a thing. He hears a rumor that he is being bullied by the killer's gang, and asks why he hasn't worked more to solve the case. He thinks that if he hadn't faked the call, they wouldn't have solved the case
