The next morning, the three servants prepare for their journey to the city of Asselville. Before they leave, Ani asks Rosa to plant a tree in front of the house so that when she and the others return, Rosa will think of her when they are gone. When the servants return, they find that the weather is good and that the trees have grown taller than before they left.
