In this chapter, we learn that sara's servant, Eno, is now a senior citizen. Eno tells sara that he's going on a trip with her, and sara agrees to let Eno accompany him. Eno says that he doesn't like traveling with unfamiliar people, but he does know that Eno is a "devout worshiper" . Eno asks sara if he can have emelina with him, but sara says that she'd rather not see her, since she's not strong enough to travel on her own. Aww, Eno wonders if it was just sara, but Eno thinks it's too late. Eno warns sara not to be too worried, because if something happens, he'll never forget it. Eno apologizes for eavesdropping on their conversation, and says he just wanted to check on sara. Eno explains that they've had to find a way to communicate with the other animals, because they're always aggressive and can't speak. Eno finds that Eno reminds him of the kids he rescued when he was a kid, so he picked up Eno and decided to save her. He didn't know that she would become so attached to him as a result of his work, but she did. Eno thinks that if he hadn't rescued her, she would have been kidnapped to argula to suffer. He asks Eno why he shouldn't use his magic seal to protect Eno.
