The narrator tells us that he's still in love with his first love, and that's why he spends so much time in class. He tells the teacher that he wants to confess his love, but he can't because love is a bet, and he doesn't want to lose it. The teacher introduces us to two random police officers who are going to teach the students about safety. The narrator is shocked to find out that the police officers are actually looking for him. He goes to the police station to find them, but they don't seem to recognize him. The police officer explains that he went to the shop to reset the first love clock on Hecheng's phone. He's not sure how to do it, but the teacher tells him that they can just cancel the clock's effect and let Hecheng confess to his true love before nightfall. This way, the girl who he originally loved will no longer be able to seduce him.
