This chapter opens with a description of a 6th level demon beast that is being sold at a marketplace. The beast's skins, alchemy, and other magical items are all on sale. The young master tells the waiter to come inside and have a little fun with them. The waiter is upset that the young master is looking down on him. He apologizes for what happened and says that his shop is small and that his men will not hurt him. Finally, he catches the two of them acting alone and asks the waiter what is going on. He says that the place is called Wu kingdom and that there are six deity clans that are about to conduct an assessment of the number of inner disciples. When those major clans find you alone at night, they'll join together and kill you. You have to be very strong to be able to join any of the six clans.
