In this chapter, the hero Yon sen explains that the alien fleet has attacked and that he and his daughter have been missing for two years. He tells the audience that the main fighters are in the top ten of the class, but from those ten, six heroes have been hospitalized, and one is gone. Yon sen says that he can sense a "formidable presence" on the mother ship, and that a man with a "fame of dark energy" is on the ship's far right. He says that the other heroes, including his daughter, are either missing or hospitalized. A large number of alien battleships have gathered in the city, and Yon sen fears that they will not show up to fight.
