In this chapter, we learn that the strongest mentors in the world are those who have been in the school for the longest period of time. In other words, they're the ones who are the best at what they do. We learn that they've been there for over a thousand years, and they haven't been recognized by anyone. They're not even recognized by the grandmaster, who's supposed to be their teacher's disciple. The grandmaster's punishment for them is that they sweep the floor for the rest of their lives. This is punishment enough for them, but it's even worse than that. They can't believe that their teacher would punish his disciples with this kind of punishment. They wonder if they'll be able to get a look at the two strongest guys in the class. They don't look like they belong in the classroom. They look like academy idiots. They won't even be allowed to go to the classroom because their mother told them they shouldn't speak to strange men. The two of them decide to head back to the school's backyard to see if they can figure out what's going on.
