The chapter opens with a flashback to the future, where the protagonist is still alive. He has lost his father, his brothers, and his god, the sea god, and he is afraid of the future. He tells us that he was planning on going to the "chaos" of the universe, but he ended up in the "earth," where the sea gods are. He explains that the gods want to meet him, and the two of them have to go back and tell their father about it. The protagonist then tells us about the academy, where he and two other martial uncles have reached the "qi-refinement" stage. They have probably swallowed a ton of "longevity elixirs" , which are supposed to cure diseases. He says that he wants to see the "grandmaster" in his lifetime, but that he has heard rumors that he might not exist.
