Worried about her wound, Cai cao tells Lin jin that the hairpin was once given to her by her father, who hid it in his mansion. Worried that she will be killed, she begs her father to hurry up and find the assassins. He refuses, saying that he will not let her die. He tells her that he had a dream in which he was killed in a temple and he took the hairpin with him. He says that he fed her some divine water and that her wound disappeared because she fed him the water. He explains that they are in a special place where only he has access to it.
