The young mistress returns to the jade shop and asks the young shopkeeper if she can order something. The young shopkeeper tells her that the food in the shop is "really disgusting" and that the young mistress is used to eating "high-end delicacies" at the restaurant. He asks her if there is something she is satisfied with and she tells him that it is "outrageous" that he does not have to be as polite to her as he is to her. She tells him to go home and wait for the bill to be paid and then gives him ten taels to keep.
