In this chapter, we learn that the rules of the tournament are exactly the same as they always have been. The judges are Mr. Zhao, the Director of the Ancient Martial Arts Club, and Mr. Jurong, the President of the Muay Thai Club. In the first round, patiya from the Thai club faces off against liu-yi from the boxing club. This is the first time that the two men have faced off, and they are both psyched to be fighting. After the first fight, they are shocked to find out that patiya has blocked his "flying bullets fists" with his "lightning punch" . They are even more shocked when they learn that they have to fight the next round.
