This scene opens with the narrator looking at the girl he's about to kiss. He's worried that she's going to kiss him, but he doesn't know what to do. He tells the narrator not to tell anyone about the kiss, because it'll make things worse. The narrator tells him to go home first, and then he'll tell everyone what happened. He says that the other girls were in the fight with him, and that they're the ones to blame. In fact, he says, students fight all the time at school, and this time it was a big ruckus. He goes to the hospital, and the school tells him that he got hurt and that he should be punished. He asks the narrator what happened, and he says that he came home to find out what had happened. The school called him and said that he'd gotten into a fight with some other girls and got hurt. He was supposed to be punished, but the narrator says that's not his fault. He just beat up the girls, and they didn't deserve it. He also says that zhankun wouldn't have gotten into such a fight either, because he would have been punished the same way. This is the last thing he could do to prove that he wasn't too obsessed with the idea of kissing the girl, and it's the only thing he can do to make sure that he isn't obsessed with
