About This Chapter
After the fight, Roxane tries to get the guy to admit defeat. He refuses, saying that he's going to die. Roxane tells him that she's sorry, but she can't pretend to be anything other than a girl. She wishes she could tell him how dare he leave without telling her. He says that if he wants to talk, he can go home. She says that they can finally get back together, and he says that's why they're having this "kind of relationship" . She asks him if he knows he can win, and she says that he doesn't. He's bragging, she says, and then she asks why he didn't just admit defeat earlier. He said that he wasn't sure he could win, but now he knows.
