O Maidens in Your Savage Season

This chapter opens with a conversation between a student and a teacher. The teacher tells the student that if he or she learns of any "indecent behavior" by another student, the student will be summoned to the principal's office and punished according to the school's "zero-dating policy." The student protests that the school has no authority to enforce such a policy, but the teacher assures him that the policy is in place to protect the students' reputations. The student tells the teacher that he saw Sonezaki and Amagi at a hotel, and that he intends to marry her. He tells the other students that he has just finished a literature club meeting, and he wants to find out what is going on with Sone-zaki.
