The next day at school, the two girls are in class, and they're interrupted by the arrival of Sonezaki, who has come to see them. He's upset that they've been unable to meet because of a board of education issue. He tells them that he's just been talking about his own problems, and that he just took off his glasses and now looks like a "gringo" . Oh, and the guy who works at the food stand is also upset that he can't go to class because of the issue. So he tells them to write a report about what happened, and how he fell in love with them. They agree that it's a good thing that they haven't been able to meet, because it shows how mature they are. So they leave.
