About This Chapter
The Governess and her Governess-in-waiting, the Governess's grandmother, are on the train, and they're talking about how happy they are to be on the same train as the rest of the passengers. They're all about to go out on a date, so they've decided to take the train instead of going out on their own. When they get to the station, they realize that the train isn't as crowded as they thought it would be, and that the people on board are happy to see them. They all clap and shout at each other, which makes them all happy. They start talking about their favorite theater troupe, and how they'd like to be in the play they'll be in soon. They want to play the lead in it, but they don't have the money to do so, so the only way they can do it is if they want to do the play together. They both want to be friends with each other. They agree that they can't be friends until they get married, and then they can be friends forever. They also agree that it's a good idea to have sex with someone who's not your age, because that'll make you feel like a grown-up again. They talk about how they would like to do a play together with a girl in high school, but that's too high-school-y for them, and so they have to do it alone. They decide to go to the train station, where they can get a message from their Governess. She tells them that she's lost her connection to an editor, and she doesn't know how to get published. She's also worried that she won't get published, because she'll have to go back to school to get her degree. She
