About This Chapter
The next morning, Ming asks to be let in, but the king refuses to let him in. Ming tells the king that the army is marching the next day, so he'll have to sneak out to talk to him. Ming says that he's got a plan to get the two of them out of this mess. He's sent a letter from yongan to the king, and Ming wants to know what the king plans to do if Ming finds them. Ming asks if there's anything he can do to help, and the king says he can go to Ming's tent and discuss the matter. Ming is all, "Fine, I'll go talk to you later." Ming says he doesn't have the right to ask the king questions, but he does have a right to poke fun at him for being a "low-class" man. Ming tries to get Ming to admit that he was right, but Ming is too proud to admit it. He tells Ming that if he caught his lover having sex with someone else, he'd have to act like he wasn't there, curse the couple, and then get rid of them.
