About This Chapter
The inspector's cough is so bad that he can barely breathe. He tells the others that he saw the sister and the brother in the mural dismembered. He also tells them that the general, the empress, and the general were all killed at the 13th year of the qiyan rebellion. The previous emperor had been seriously ill and had been executed in the General's mansion. The empress burned herself and her prince in the palace. Later, the previous emperor stripped her of her title, and she was dethroned. The inspector rushes out to check on the main hall of the mansion. He finds that the tomb is not a secret affair, but a place where sinners can be suppressed forever. He explains that he knows about the tomb because he was a foster father who refused to accept any of his sons. The children who did not win the battle never saw their siblings again. He then took over as supervisor of the children who had been sent into the tomb. He found out that the General had sent the children there because he wanted to suppress the "treachery" of the family.
