In this chapter, we learn that the three men are going to a gambling establishment called "Qingyun" , which means "the four biggest casinos" in the city. The narrator explains that the establishment is a place where "human trafficking secretly" occurs. The three men have to find out where the secret jail is located before they can enter the gambling establishment. The first thing they have to do is find out how to get into the casino with the fake identity card that they have made. The casino's guards are not very smart, so they don't know how to spot the man in disguise. The third man tells the first man that he is going to play a game called "touhu," which is a card game in which a player has to throw dice into a pot of narrow mouth. The odds are five to one, so the player should be able to get a good return on his investment. The second man suggests that they play "madiao," another card game, which is similar to Touhu, but with a higher chance of success. The man agrees to play the game for the third man if the man will give him some tips if he wins, and the two men begin to play. The player wins, but the man is so impressed by the man's generosity that he tells the man to "get rich together" with him. The two men are so impressed that they continue to play and the man says that he will play it on his own in the future.
