In this chapter, the gang plays with a wooden horse, which they call a "playmate" because it's so easy to play with. They play a game of "stombling," which is a Japanese word for "stumble," and then they read a story about a "stum bling" samurai. The next story is about a guy named Ohana, who cooks a dish for the samurai. Ohana is related to the owner of the tea shop where the story is set, and they're both related by blood. The gang decides to read the next story together when they get back from playing with the wooden horse.
