The demon tells Edmund that he is the one who seduced Edmund. He tells him that he has already devoured Edmund's soul and that he will never be able to stop him. He says that Edmund is a hick who let him in and that Edmund should leave if he wants to be killed. The demon says that it is his free will to do what he pleases. He asks Edmund why he thought so highly of him. Edmund replies that it was his choice and that they can no longer keep their relationship close. Edmund says that he thinks it is going to be "heartbreaking moments" in the next chapter
