Back at the hospital, Fang tells his wife that he's pregnant. He's so excited that he wants to marry her right away. He wants to know when they'll have the wedding, and he wants her to book the venue. He tells her to go home and have dinner first, and then he'll talk about the wedding. He also tells her about his son's strange illness, which hasn't been cured by doctors. He doesn't want to tell his wife about it, because she'll be the only person who's miserable. He says he can't let his wife die with their baby, because that would be a waste of her time.
