In this short scene, Lingyan's old friend Miss Wen tells Lingyan that she and his wife are "seriously disturbed" by what he has done. She asks him to take the child to the hospital to have a paternity test. She also tells him to forget about the test and forget about celebrating his 18th birthday with his family.
