In this chapter, Lingxuan tries to explain to his father why he has killed himself and Linxuan. He tells his father that he has done it for her good, and that she should be sent to a school to learn acting so that she can use her talents to benefit society. He also tells her that he is a big fan of her, and she is becoming a star on the university campus. He says that he almost fell for her, but that he heard that her marriage contract had been canceled, and he wonders if he has a chance to win her back.
