In the middle of the night, Littimer wakes up to find himself alone with his former lover. Littimer tells him that he has come to apologize to him for his behavior. He tells Littimer that he knows that he is the one who gave him the drugs, and Littimer knows that it was Littimer who made him take responsibility for his actions and marry Littimer after the drugs had been given to him. He says that he will always believe Littimer from now on, and he will stand by him in his time of need.
