In this chapter, we learn that Prince Xuan and his men are in the midst of a battle with a new enemy, and that the enemy will be joined by three men: Prince Xan, the fox, and the prince's father, the Duke of Guizhou. We learn that the prince is feeling the pressure of the competition, and is even absent from Guizhou's banquet on Valentine's Day.
