In this scene, the two young lovers are in the midst of a rehearsal for a scene in which they are to fall in love. The young lovers, who are both members of the same religious sect, are in love with each other, but they are separated because of their different identities. The two men are so in love that they do not want to leave each other. When the scene is over, the young lovers realize that their love for each other has been lost.
