In this chapter, we learn that the water monster has been transformed into a green-eyed monster by the potion that the prince gave him. We also learn that Prince Xuan has finally taken action, and that he is turning into a "green eyed monster" . The chapter ends with a soliloquy in which the monster declares that he will never allow the prince to take him.
