About This Chapter
Pato tells his servant, patter, to be quiet and not to play with the baby. He tells the boy not to worry, because he will be dead if he does not stop. Pato asks the boy why he is in the dream, and the boy tells him that he feels numb and that he cannot get his sword back. He then asks why she is sleeping in the room, and she replies that she has been there for a long time, and that she does not need him anymore. She then asks him if he would like to stay with her for the weekend, and he replies that he would, but that he is not in the mood to kill her anymore, even if he were to be the death. He asks her if she has lost her mind and if she is still in love with Pato. She replies that her feelings are all because she is in love. She asks if he has come to fulfill his wish of killing her, but she has never expected him to protect her when she withdraws her wish. She also asks if his protection is out of sympathy, and if it is the first time he has put her in his arms. He replies that it is not, because that is not what he wants to
