Back at the hanmyung house, we find out that the mystery man is there. He's wearing a mask, which means that he's hiding his identity. The innkeeper is all, "Oh, yeah, that's the guy we've been waiting for." The innkeeper tells us that he went through all the trouble of asking all the Westerners staying at the house to find out who this guy was. He also says that the king isn't there yet, but he'll be back soon.
