About This Chapter
The next morning, the young master is surprised to find that he has not received any medical treatment. He asks if it is alright to not be treated. The young master tells him that it is time to return to the palace. He says that they have lost the man and that they will not be able to relax there either. He tells the master that he would have caught the man if he had followed him, but he did not do so on purpose. He then says that he could not look away and let the citizens burning to death capture the man running away from him. He adds that he cannot look away from them and let them burn to death until he gets rid of the man at the top of the pyramid. He realizes that he will have to follow the master's lead, but one thing bothers him more than anything else. He did not ask for the woman's name. He rummages through the house looking for her, but she is not there. He is so frightened that he cries.
