He tells his father that he is now very busy at school, and that he has been drinking a lot. He says that he hasn't been drinking because Mr. Harry has started checking his blood again. He asks his father to give him a call if he is able to use his phone before he leaves for Italy, but his father is shocked to hear that it would cost only 200 dollars to repair the broken screen on Tomas's phone. He is also shocked to learn that Tomas has gone oversea, and they have to buy a new one. He wants to go to the mainland to fix the problem on the boat, and his father agrees to go.
