In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, Yonseo. Yonseo is a student at Yonsei High School, where Yonsei and Tomas have been friends since Yonsei's arrival in the country. The two of them are having a health check-up at the school, which Yonseo forgot to attend the previous day. When Yonseo complains that he was also hungry the night before, Tomas tells him that he had forgotten to attend his health check the day before, so he had instant noodles before he went to sleep. He asks Yonseo to confirm that he is indeed one of the victims of a serial killer in the capital.
