The scene opens with a "thump-y teary story" . It's the story of a guy who's been stabbed in the chest. He's a vampire, but he's not going to turn into one anytime soon. He wants to keep his identity a secret so that no one will know about his existence. The guy asks if he can take a pill that will keep him from turning into a vampire. He says no, but if he takes the pill, he'll be fine. This is a "suspicious stroke" , the guy says, because the pill doesn't actually harm the vampire's body, but it does harm the human's. He asks the guy if he'd like to find out more about the girl, and if he wants to report back to the vampire. The vampire is all, "step step, you're just going to expose us for our blood." The guy says he can't do that, but that's okay. He tells the story, which is that it was a remote place, and no witnesses or cctv were there. He also says that the kidnappers have changed their memories, and there's no need to worry about them.
