In this chapter, we learn that the body guard is playing, and that the girl who lost against Belle Wing has lost all 52 of her previous hands. The body guard asks the girl to quit the game, but the girl refuses, saying that she has to prove that she can survive on her own. She reminds us that when she was murdered, her family gave her the power to survive. She says that if she continues to rely on others, she will be killed.
