She's also worried that John Lowe's bodyguard is coming to pick her up, and that he spit on her in front of her. She wonders why he doesn't act more like a friend to her, and asks him if he'd like to continue playing. He says he would, and they start the game. The only thing he knows for sure is that the doctor is manipulating the order of the cards. He's trying to get the doctor to play cards according to the way he thinks they'll play them. He might be trying to change totals of 20 cards to get a total of 20, so that one card won't make them lose. He wants to show her a real fight, but he's worried that he'll get killed. He wonders if the boss did something to the girl, and wonders if she'd trust him. He tells her that if she wants a fair fight, she has to tell her to get off her glove.
