In this short scene, Ani tells us that her father is leaving for the U.S. in two days, and that he's not doing too well at school. She's worried about him, though, because she's still worried about her parrot, who's been eating too much and getting a stomach ache. Ani is worried that she'll be unable to repay her father for his kindness, but she also knows that she can't help him. Ani asks if there's anything she can do to help her father, and he says he'll do his best to make her feel better. Ani says she wishes she could make her father feel better, but he doesn't have the money to do so, so she just wants to make him feel better by making him happy. Ani also tells us about how she and the other girls were out drinking all night, and how they didn't sleep in the same place.
