In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who is introduced as "Mistress" . Mistress tells us that she is a friend of Mistress's and that Mistress is her "light heaven closest to . . who said I liked yabe." Mistress says that she told Mistress how she felt about him, and Mistress realizes that she got what Mistress was feeling. She tells Mistress that she has to go to school to face Mistress, because she is the only one with the power to do anything. She says she is worried about Mistress because he has canceled his plans for the day, and she wants to know if Mistress will go out with her on the day of her birthday. She asks Mistress if she can take a picture of the flowers blooming in the garden, and he says that he will. He says that his only worry is that he is in a rush, and that he has to do something to apologize for something he has done. He then asks if he can write Mistress a letter, but Mistress does not want to write a letter at first, so Mistress writes a letter to Mistress asking if she would like to stay over for the night. He tells her that she can do so, but that she should think of herself first, and then she can think of the gift Mistress has prepared for her. He compares Mistress to a bunny who wanted to stay by her side because she wanted her to feel the happiness she felt when she was alone. He asks if she remembers Mistress when they first talked, but she says that both times she had the same feeling, and now she realizes that feeling is not love. She is in love with Mistress and wants to see her.
